As with all good works, the support of the community is essential. Your support of
the Historical Society is greatly appreciated.
Clifford Township Historical Society, Inc., was born during the planning of the township's
bicentennial celebration. The society was incorporated in December of 2005 and received its
non-profit 501c3 designation a few months later.

Mission Statement: Clifford Township Historical Society, Inc., is a non-profit organization and its mission is
the collection, documentation and preservation of historical information and memorabilia relating
to the early settlement of Clifford and the surrounding areas with the goal of fostering in our
residents an appreciation of our area's rich history through community programs, exhibits and
events which reflect and fulfill those interests.
Merchandise: The Historical Society is also very proud to present a variety of distinct, informative and
beautifully created keepsakes in honor of the Township's Bicentennial. Please visit the Merchandise
page for product and ordering information.
Membership and Donations: Your support of the Clifford Township Historical
Society, Inc. will assist with the preservation of the township's history for this and future
generations. Anyone joining the Historical Society in 2006 will be a charter member.
Projects: Some of our current and upcoming projects include the Hoover School renovation,
our semi-annual Adopt-a-Highway clean-ups, and the
Chautauqua 2009 Event.
